Eligibility for Transfer
Departments that accept Transfer Students You may apply to any department at Boğaziçi University that has a quota open for Transfer Students. If the department to which you would like to apply has a quota for Transfer Students for the semesters you would like to attend the University, then you can apply to that department during the application period with your Official Transcripts, Standardized Test Score, and English Proficiency Test Score, as explained below. The quota system Each department has a quota, or the number of places, that it can offer to transfer students. The number of places varies according to the department. Standardized test score requirements:
Subject competency exam If you are a transfer candidate whose standardized test scores and GPA requirements meet the minimum requirements of the University, then you will be required to take a Subject Competency Exam and have an interview with the department to which you have applied.

Candidates who have completed high school education in a school abroad are required to obtain a certificate of equivalence for registration to the university. |
6. Application Fee Receipt |
A separate application fee is required by each program to which you apply. The application fee is non-refundable. Please make sure that you meet all of the requirements for the department to which you are applying and that the department has a quota for Transfer Students before paying the application fee(s). The application fee must be paid in person or by bank wire. The University does not accept credit cards or payments by third parties like PayPal. |

Proof of Language Proficiency
The medium of instruction at Boğaziçi University is English. All applicants must submit documentation proving proficiency in English. The Boğaziçi University Senate recognizes the results from a number of standardized tests for this purpose: |
