At the Host Institution

Once you arrive at the host institution for the duration of the exchange, please visit their Office of International Relations (sometimes called Study Abroad Office or Exchange Office) as soon as possible.

  • Erasmus SMS students: Have your Certificate of Arrival form signed/stamped and send a copy (fax or e-mail) to the OIR within two weeks of your arrvial at the host instituion. Failure to do so may lead the OIR to think that you have decided not to attend the program, and the funds provided until then may be requested back.
  • Erasmus SMS students:If necessary, update your LA, and make sure you obtain the authorized signatures of the host institution on both pages. It is strongly advised that you get the approval of your Academic Advisor/Departmental Coordinator before making changes to the LA, otherwise you may not get your new courses recognized and transferred.
  • Erasmus SMS students:Before you leave the host instituion, make sure the host instituion completes and approves your Letter of Confirmation - a document bearing the exact dates of your stay and one that you have to submit to us when you get back.
