New for summer 2015: Students attending session B are invited to participate in Yale’s Summer Online courses. It is a program that provides an opportunity for students to continue their studies in challenging online seminars that provide flexibility for summer plans. The courses are developed and taught by Yale faculty, offer Yale College credit, and provide extensive interaction with faculty and peers.  A central component to the learning experience is the synchronous discussion session, our virtual classroom technology allows the class to come together "face-to-face" each week to discuss course topics.  Combining our technology with small class sizes (20), students can expect strong personal engagement with faculty through rich conversation and thoughtful feedback providing an immersive experience. Students who are part of the group who come to Yale may take one online course in addition to one course on campus to fulfill the 2 credit requirement for the student visa.

 Yale’s Online Summer Program

Study with Yale Faculty Without Leaving Home.

Students from our partner universities are invited to participate in Yale’s Online Summer Session. This is a unique opportunity to enroll in courses taught by Yale’s top scholars without having to travel New Haven. This program allows students to continue their studies in challenging online seminars that provide flexibility for summer plans. The courses are developed and taught by Yale faculty, offer Yale College credit, and provide extensive interaction with professors and students from around the world.  A central component to the learning experience is the live discussion session - our virtual classroom technology allows the class to come together "face-to-face" each week to discuss course topics.  These are “live” interactions with real Yale professors. Combining our technology with small class sizes (20), students can expect strong personal engagement with faculty through rich conversation and thoughtful feedback providing an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience. Class sizes are small, therefore enrollment is limited.

We would like to extend a 20% tuition discount to students from our partner universities for the 2015 program. This program is for students not able to travel to New Haven, but who would like to experience a Yale course.
