Changes in Exchange and Erasmus Applications

Changes in Exchange and Erasmus Applications

  • The National Agency has declared that Erasmus and Exchange applications, which were received together in the previous years, will be received separately in the next period in order to apply to Erasmus participants. The selection criteria is determined by the European Commission. This makes it possible for students to apply to and benefit from both programs.
  • Students will be able to apply to the Erasmus program more than once; however, points will be deducted for each additional application due to prior benefit.
  • Students will be able to apply to the Exchange program more than once and benefit from Exchange programs for a maximum of two semesters at the same education level. With the second application, a point reduction will be applied due to previous benefit. (Students who are placed in any agreement for one year and accept the placement will be using their right to Exchange program at that particular educational level and cannot apply for Exchange programs again.)
  • It is not possible to carry out internship activities after graduation in any Erasmus or Exchange programs at any educational levels.
  • Erasmus outgoing students are required to take a minimum of 30 ECTS credits (or, if this is not possible, a minimum of 7 courses) per semester at the institution they attend.
  • Our office cannot assist students in academic matters (such as which courses they can take or which courses can be transferred) and directs students to their academic advisors and department coordinators on such matters.
